worst place you could possibly go to it you want help. you'll want to die more after being here. seriously, don't go. most of the staff are complete assholes, and definitely don't treat you like they should be treating emotionally unstable, suicidal people. if I could give zero stars,or negative stars, I would.
The first day I came here I was ushered in inside of an ambulance which I understand because I was mentally unstable at the time but they set me in with my roommate Tyrone. It was horrible and refused to let me use the shower. He threatened so "steal my bunghole" whatever that means and proceed to stab with a homemade prison shank. I got out a few weeks ago and butthole still aches I highly recommend this establishment and hope it bring many souls a better life
I was a patient here earlier in december. imma admitting process was very long. I was awake for more than 36 hours and they wouldn’t let me go to sleep. I was a mess when I went in and a mess when I left. I hated it there. i’ve completed my full stay at other hospitals but this one i couldn’t. I had to go. I told them my worst trigger for panic attacks was yelling but all the nurses did nothing but yell. I had two room mates who cursed at each other nonstop and it was very triggering. they did nothing to stop kids from swearing even though they put up this fake no swearing rule. it really is an awful place. I remember going to bed at night literally thinking “if there’s a hell, this is mine.” i also never had a one on one session with the therapist there which needed to happen considering it’s a mental hospital. i would say go to akron children’s instead. they are helpful, kind, gentle, and actually talk to you and care. it’s not far from here and will help you much more.
It's really not that bad.. They are there to help you through out the your whole experience.. If you don't want help they will try there best to make sure you change your mind but they won't do the work for you.. It helped me a lot I had a lot of support.. If you have a chance to go.. Go it will change your life
My son was there end of Feb to first week of March. His name is Chris he meet a friend in their named Shane from Cleveland area in ohio. He forgets his last name and can't locate his number.
