Overall we like it, but food just got really bad. It used to be good. So Back to Mountaineer. You can get great food reasonably priced there.
A good place to have fun, win or lose. 2 bars. Lots of televisions to catch sporting events. Also has a place to get on horse races. We typically spend 2-3 hours there. Sometimes we drive out and back (1 1/2 hours one way), and sometimes we book a hotel. We have fun....more fun when we win.
When it first opened we had some really good winnings.. But lately the pay outs are very few and far between.Even when some of the machines give you free spins on 1.20 and 2.00 bets your winnings are so small it isnt worth it... We have decided to take our betting entertainment to West Virginia.
Bad bad bad. Payouts are not proportional, not even close. You go there and win 40 dollars TOTAL one day. Go there the next 5 days and lose 500-800 each day. What a joke of a piece of trash organization this is. HOW are you still in business with what you are doing.
